Description: This is an unusal P230. Discontinued commerically in 1996 for the improved P232, this P230 was nevertheless built in 2000. It also has a thumb safety, which commercial P230s and P232s do not have. Finally, it is in 7.65mm, aka .32ACP. Most sold in the USA were in .380ACP. This pistol was surplus from a run made for the German police. ETA: I've now been told that it may have been made for the Japanese police.
