Photo From: Mark Freburg - Album: Holsters/Carry Accessories

Description:

I made this holster for a Smith & Wesson 4053 I used to own.  I've made several holsters in the past but it is work and I haven't made one in a long time.  Mine are not professional in appearance but I pride myself that the features are correct and I don't add stupid gimmicks or misplace features, a common problem with factory holsters.  This one is glued and sewn, hand-boned and finished hard.  Shaped to the gun on the outside, flat on the inside for comfort and to provide even better retention as it is an open-top.  Edges are finished.  Slots are pre-formed for the belt so that they won't soften as much if they had to be broken-in after the holster was formed.  The trigger guard is indented on both sides for added retention.
