Description: AMT Longslide, the seven inch long version of the AMT Hardballer, one of the earliest all-stainless steel pistols. Not known for great reliability, the Hardballer was nevertheless a ground breaker in the use of stainless steel in a semi-automatic pistol. Chambered in .45ACP and made in California back in the day when California was a hotbed for firearms manufacturing. Today these are long discontinued, the original company defunct, and the pistols difficult to find and commanding prices upward of $800 when they can be found.
