Description: My Bulgarian Makarov in 9x18. It replaces a Russian Baikal I had many years ago, as well as an East German Mak I owned for a short time that I thought was problematic but turned out to be user error. The Russian was a good shooter but I didn't like the GCA68-inspired adjustable sights. They worked but were grossly out of place on a compact pistol like a Makarov. My Bulgarian is a great shooter, totally reliable, and loads of fun at the range. Nothing fancy, but it was never meant to be. I did replace the black commercial stock with a red, military type. I like the look.
