Maintenance
Description: Once they've served their purpose in oral hygiene, toothbrushes are a good addition to the cleaning bench. Use them as is, take a couple and cut the bristles down low to make them firmer for better cleaning, or cut the handles down to add a couple to your compact shooting bag cleaning kit. A fresh razor blade and some patience will trim the bristles nicely, and a hacksaw will make short work of any toothbrush handle, even the ones with rubber inserts. Any file will smooth the rough edges of the handle with a few short strokes.
