Description: This is an unusal P230. Discontinued commerically in 1996 for the improved P232, this P230 was nevertheless built in 2000. It also has a thumb safety, which commercial P230s and P232s do not have. Finally, it is in 7.65mm, aka .32ACP. Most sold in the USA were in .380ACP. This pistol was surplus from a run made for the German police. ETA: I've now been told that it may have been made for the Japanese police. Either way, it was an interesting pistol, but it was really outside my interests, and I've since sold it.
