Handguns--Modern
Description: The C100 is a clone of the CZ 75 Compact and is made in Turkey by Canik, one of the two largest makers of firearms in Turkey today. It is not a 100% exact copy, but for example, magazines, sights, and grips will interchange, though grips might require a bit of fitting. This is the hard chrome version, and is quite handsome in person. The Caniks also come in .40S&W. Prices on these run around $350 or less, often as low as $300.
With the ignorant and often mindless run on firearms in the winter of 2013, many people have turned to other than main brands, and pistols like Turkey's Canik and Sarsilmaz pistols have been available when CZ75s and EAA Witness/Tanfoglio pistols were not. Fortunately, these are very well-made, forged-steel pistols.
Several Canik models are imported by Tristar Sporting Arms.
