To further comment beyond what I wrote when I originally uploaded this photo, this would never be my pistol because it has forward serrations and a special safety lock meant for riding the safety while shooting, a practice I do not employ--although if you are going to ride the safety you can get a better hand position with this safety than with the conventional one. I also do not use Wilson mags with the extended base pad as shown in the gun. They are fine for carrying spare mags but make the gun that much more difficult to conceal--incrementally, yes, but every little bit matters when you carry a government model. Finally, I don;y carry blue steel guns in kydex holsters. That's one reason the finish looks like it does.
