Description: I picked up some sheets of white styrene plastic at the hobby shop, printed out "Loaded Gun" in block letters on mailing labels I got from the office supply store, then affixed them to small rectangles of the styrene I'd cut out with a scissors. Then I glued small round magnets on the back. The magnets also can be found at the office supply store and many other places.
Now, any loaded gun in the safe gets a "Loaded Gun" sign the minute it is placed inside. Yes, Rule #1, All guns are always loaded, but anything we can do to further safety can't be a bad thing, can it?
