Description: There are some things in Firearms books that need to simply be ignored. I think utilizing the 1911 as a hand to hand bludgeon qualifies. I love the reason this book states that utilizing the 1911 as a bludgeon is a good reason NOT to put adjustable sights on your firearm. This picture is scanned from "Dead or Alive" a textbook on Self-Defense with the .45 Automatic by Fred L. Rexer JR. Mark and I saw this at the OGCA show and I had to buy it to show how far things have come
