Description: Premium 230 grain .45ACP self-defense ammunition I have tested. Ignore the order of the boxes in the background--the individual cartridges are, left to right: Eldorado (PMC)Starfire Winchester Black Talon Speer Gold Dot Winchester "Subsonic" JHP Federal Hydra-Shok Remington Golden Saber Winchester SXT All worked very well in my 1911s except the Starfire, which I rate as very good but not perfectly reliable. I have not tested all of these in my DA .45s, but the couple I've tried worked perfectly--but then what won't function in a Ruger or a SIG .45?
