Description: A close-up of the action of my Jungle Carbine. The receiver has several 'lightening cuts', one of which can be plainly seen on the upper part of the receiver, just below the rear sight. The so-called "wandering zero" was attributed to these 'lightening cuts', which supposedly caused the receiver to torque when the carbine was fired. I have never experienced the 'wandering zero' phenom with my Jungle Carbine.
