For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The idea is that you use the portion of your finger near the tip, not the crease or even the pad. It is a throw back to the high end 22LR target pistols fired with one hand. The shape supposedly allows a straight back pull. For a gun like the S&W, it was style points, just like the 2 tone, forward serrations, and the funny hammer. Sadly, it had a crappy trigger pull, and puked on ball ammo! That model was quickly replaced by a more expensive version. |
