$1695 YIKES  I paid less then half of that for mine (in '88?) and I bought an extra mag. I could use a new set of plastic grips, but I've repairer and reinforced mine, and new grips are on the far back warming plate (not burner )
Earl even likes that price for the FP...which has a very prone to failure electronic trigger. Mine worked for the 6 months that I had it, but they asked to have it sent back and refunded all my $$$. They probably learned about the failure problem, and wanted to take care of a good customer (10 Walther smallbore rifles for the UGA 4-H team) Harvey/ Ga |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I noticed that Earl's Repair, the Walther authorized sales and repair shop still has P88s for sale at $1695 on their website (I don't know if that's current or not?). The Walnut grips are available for a mere $165-$185. Harvey/MO |
