I think I've gone through it.  I even wear an old cardigan sweater around the house.  And slippers.  And engraved pistols have been looking good to me for several years now.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Well, it's an all metal gun, a TDA classic, and it's been engraved. It "Gussies Up" nice as Harvey says.  That and you're approaching male menopause.
