Yep, the P210 has a very similar design to the Petter developed SACM M1935A, another good looking pistol, although in an anemic caliber. (BTW, 1935 was an interesting year for semi-auto pistol design -- The BHP, the Polish Radom, French M1935A and M1935S, Finnish Lahti P35, etc.)
The P230 was very reminiscent of the Walther HSc, another very attractive pistol. I've never had the pleasure of shooting one, something I should rectify some day. If you ever get the chance, by all means shoot a P210. Harvey |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The P210 is a very handsome pistol, especially in the wood-stocked versions. Its Charles Petter-inspired style, grip angle, controls--all look just right. I've never had the pleasure of shooting one, something I should rectify some day. I would also put in a vote for the SIG P230 (not the P232), as a really good-looking small pistol. I always thought the P230 was better-looking than the Walther designs it and everything else emulates. |
