Section 17: Cartridges & Ammo Subject: A-Merc .30 Carbine Group Msg# 958957

I used some of the A-Merc .30 Carbine ammunition in a friend's select fire Carbine. What I remember most about that event was how dirty the ammunition seemed. Cleaning the Carbine took some extra time. Firing on full auto, there weren't any reliability issues, and accuracy was a hope and a wish. Like Darryl used to say, I was just blasting away.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: It wasn't the most accurate ammunition I've shot in the M1 Carbine, but I had zero malfunctions with the A-Merc ammo. I ended up using it when we shot bowling pins. Those pins were only 25-feet away so accuracy wasn't an issue.
