FAR FAR better availability. .38 S&W just disappeared. It's a soft recoiling cartridge as well. Kind of odd why they didn't keep it.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I should probably look for one in .38 SPL Yep, better cartridge and far more available ammunition. Harvey
