Ruger has or still makes revolvers for India and Canada. Probably past tense. I've seen the Canadian version and looked carefully at the markings. Five inch barreled Security-sixes were the ones I've examined--chambered in .38 S&W. I am not sure the purpose. Possibly for indigenous police forces? India on the other hand used the .38S&W, there known by the proper British name of .38/200 (and loaded with a heavier 200gr bullet of course), for longer than the Brits themselves. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: You are definitely right, it's been deemed obsolete by the sands of time.
