Well, the best thing was that you made money when you sold it. I guess I'm surprised that holsters for the wide body STIs and Springfields wouldn't fit, but I imagine no one made decent holsters for those either. Probably everything for the STIs is a cut down IPSC speed rig.... | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Yeah, I sold it for a pretty penny more than I bought it for too. Apparently, these became somewhat collectible. Finding mags for this thing was terrible. No one had any. I found some mentioned in a forum post on a 1911 forum that was 3 years old. I figured, "why not" and emailed the poster. He was astonished that I had tracked that post and emailed, and yes he had them. It was only 2 extra magazines, but that brought my total to 3 mags. 1-13 rounder and 2-10 rounders. The gun never jammed on me, ran like a top. It didn't fit any holsters out there either as the plastic frame was just a little too wide to fit in a typical 1911 holster. Good memories. |
