Yep, and not a one of them still around or even thought of very fondly by most people. The P5/P225 is the only one that gets much respect anymore, I think. And while the grip frame was good, it wasn't a Browning P35 or CZ75--or even an M1911, eh? | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Of the group, I think the P225 is a best fit for most folks. Of course it isn't really part of the exact same family group, more like a grandfather than a sibling. The grip, at one time, was considered to be very good for most people. Of course it was a single stack, basically a cut down P220 (M75 in the Swiss Army). It was developed for the German Police contract, which ended up creating 3 different pistols -- P5 from Walther, P6 from Sig-Sauer (later commercially designated P225), and the P7 (the "Squeeze Cocker") from H&K.
