No need to go for more bang unless you have a specific problem to solve, like grizzlies fishing in your backyard pool. 
As to Taffin, I know he complains about what a lifetime of shooting heavy recoiling handguns has done to his hands but I think that's only half the problem. Those gnarly hands make me think rheumatoid arthritis which can develop independently of such abuse. Certainly the recoil exacerbates his problem but I don't know that it really caused it. Stu |
