I had a FFL back in the 60's and 70's and sold a surprising number of these to doctors that made house calls. Not much of a defensive weapon but easily carried in the pocket and better than nothing. Production of this model continued into 1968 when the Gun Control of Act of 1968 essentially stopped the importation of certain types of firearms and forced production of this Spanish made Colt to cease.
