Those cool holes in the trigger make the gun look faster! What does a kid like you know about cool, anyway! I did the initial install and set the stop but I was nervous about just how close it could be set without environmental changes or dirt affecting it, so I asked Russ to set it right when he did my action job. I think it was his idea to epoxy it in place.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: ...the Videcki three-hole trigger...(I know you no longer care for it. ) I never cared for it. The lightening of triggers may cut, literally, nanoseconds off match times for the very top-end competitors at events like the Steel Challenge, but otherwise it is a value-less endeavor. And since it has always looked silly to my eye, I've never cared for it. I'll leave that feature for gamers like you and that Tarvid character... As to the the over-travel stop, your's is fine since you had iy fitted then glued in place. More trouble than it's worth? Well, I wouldn't pay to have it done today, as in the last few years I've found the best quality brands of triggers are about perfect without the screw in place at all, and thus I don't need to risk having it in place. But it may have been more necessary back in the days when you had it done. |
