Collectors are a strange lot, no doubt. Original boxes can be outrageously priced, but they do add to the authenticity that collectors want.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I won't laugh. I see the S&W historians at OGCA selling the old style blue cardboard boxes, blank S&W stickers for them, as well as reams of the brown waxy paper each show. And they do land office business. |
