I got a P32 recently because the price was stupid low (under 100 bucks) and the frame is cream colored with a stainless slide. I hadn't seen one like it before. So, I picked it up. It's not carried. I still take it out to the range every now and then and put half a box of .32 ACP through it. It's actually fun to shoot. I couldn't find any pics of it here on the forum, so I'll upload them a bit later. It's a dressed up P32. I carry the LCP now pretty much anywhere I go as a BUG. Why not? It's convenient to carry and fits pretty much anywhere. I'm now at the point where I can put fist sized groups together with it at 7 yards. It's not a bullseye gun by any means. I shoot it probably every other range session to maintain proficiency. Seriously thinking of taking Gunsite's Pocket Pistol class later next year. Either that, or take a regular handgun class with the LCP just to see how well I can work the gun under pressure. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I owned a P32 but got rid of it shortly after we got CCW in OH yet it saw hardly any carry. I dropped it in my pocket literally a couple times but I tend to subscribe to Allan's idea that if your main gun fails for whatever reason, a pocket pistol in a substandard caliber is next to useless--what you need is a second main gun. The exception of course is if you are on the ground, separated from your main blaster, and are able to secure your micro-blaster and can make an eyeball or earhole shot. The odds of that need are minuscule, but it has justified the carrying of such guns. I confess I haven't thrown out my Taurus 783 TCP for that reason. Then again I never carry it. |
