I almost bought a new Bearcat as my first handgun, but ultimately didn't. By the time I got to shoot one many decades later (Bob S brought one to FFGT2005) I'd lost interest in SA revolvers....

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Bought one brand new back in the late 60's or maybe early 70's, a great little "kit gun" if ever there was one. Sold it many years ago to buy a Colt single action 22LR with the 22 Win Mag cylinder. The Colt was great but a lot heavier with more bulk / size.
