For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Please remind me, I've forgotten, and I am being lazy when I know I could simply search the message board. Did you replace the stocks on that beauty or are they as you received it? They look quite lovely. As does the entire pistol. Thanks. I had the stocks "redone" by a man who specializes in that. They were in need of some deeper checkering and staining overall, and they turned out beautifully. At first, I ordered another set of original Luger stocks, but they were oversized (typical Luger) and needed to be fitted, so because the ones that came with the pistol were perfectly fitted, I decided to have them redone. (Anyone want a set of original Luger stocks?) BTW, that photo doesn't do the Luger justice. My photo skills are definitely lacking. Harvey |
