Making the cases sounds do-able, and I could make a point of shooting it off the bench so I can use my home-made brass catcher. I haven't looked but there are now more commercial casters than I can remember anytime before. The numbers of ads in HANDLOADER Magazine are astounding. but I'd check somewhere like Buffalo Arms first thing. Basically, I'd do a lot fo research, and you've given me lots of pointers.
You know what though, my son is probably as interested than I am if not more so. He got into Japanese rifles before I did, and after I shot my first Type 99 (mistakenly called an Arisaka by Americans, my rlater research told me), I was hooked! Still don't have one, but this is an area of collecting (as that Goldman guy calls it ) I'm now stuck on. Thanks, Elmer! |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: have a couple of each Jap pistols. if you can get rcbs to make as set of dies take your 357 sig brass lube it up and run it . you need to thin the rim some. good luck finding .320 bullets at 100 gr weight. load it just strong enough to kick it out of the gun and quit right there with powder. price sure has went up over 50 years. for a baby nambu , you will have to stack 100$ bills to weigh as much as the pistol. |
