My one and only Turkey Kill was about as easy as one could imagine. We parked the truck, walked to a powerline easement we'd seen sign at, then the sun rose, and we heard a gobble about 50 yards away. We walk into the easement about 15 yards and then go about 10 feet into the woods. There's a hen on the ground and a gobbler in the woods high up in a tree. Other hunts have had some success in seeing birds but not having a shot. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I hunt spring and fall, the key word is hunt not find! We see flocks of birds across the street in the spring in fact, we have video of a flock marching around the cabin but come the season they all depart for Florida! |
