For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I understand your frustration,Mark - none of my S&W revolvers have that keyhole in the frame or the hammer in the frame. They are all old school. I'm not so sure the shrouded barrel is a negative, though. When the Dan Wesson revolvers brought out that feature, weren't they touted as more accurate because of the tension the shroud put on the barrel? I would have to dig deeper but that could be a plus for the S&Ws as well. And, of course, stocks can always be swapped out. Stu |
