Lots of agreement here on many of your points. I was thinking in more general terms including the idea that I could sell off any of those guns that didn't immediately appeal to me to pay for things like insurance and security.
As to the seating arrangement - I don't know what those seats are facing; a big-screen TV to watch Ian on? A fully-stocked bar? More guns on display? The ladies' shower room? That would inform my decision. Stu |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I wouldn't hate having a gun room, but I don't want a museum that gets publicity, as that surely would. Personally I'd rather have a man's relaxation room with a safe or three that could be accessed when desired. I also don't want that many guns--I'd rather have the money than tens or more likely hundreds of thousands of dollars invested in something I could mostly only look at. Aesthetically I didn't care for the arrangement either. The couches and chairs are set up with most of the guns behind them, pointed at the seating. What the heck? And the overall vibe is one of a women's dressing room or jewelry store. Shiny surfaces, excessive spot lighting. Not what those guns deserve. |
