The Taurus Model 82 is a solid enough revolver.
I got this one cheap. I think something like $125 and it was in pieces. Sent it off to Taurus and they sent it back... sort of complete. I had to have a friend finish out the interior pieces. At any rate, it's in the same neighborhood as a K-frame model 10. I use this one for training new shooters. It does well enough in that role. TJ |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Poor man's S&W Md 10. Actually they make a first rate revolver, have their version of a S&W Md 66 with a 2 1/2 inch barrel and round butt, carry it as a hunting back-up.
