I'm sure you're right about the lockdown and ammo shortages lowering scores - use it or lose it!
I thought that might be Duncan's - just a hunch. Is Dick Harrell still involved in running that league? I shot a lot of PPC with Dick and he and Rhonda have visited us here in Vegas since we moved. Say Hi for me if you see them. Stu |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Thanks Stu, That was at Duncan's in Bay City last March. We just finished up the last two 2020 matches this month. As poorly as I shot the next two matches, getting a 496, 37x and my all time low GSSF score of 486 34x, I managed to take 1st place overall and in Class A, along with 1st place in the "Senior" division...I had just turned 55 and didn't check the "Senior" box on the score sheets. I'm sure that the lockdown in general, and ammo supply challenges both, contributed to less than optimal practice and performance for the other competitors. Mine was one of only four 500 scores, whereas normally there would be over a dozen. I also managed to take 3rd place in unlimited class. |
