It really is night and day for smoothness of action and quality of construction. Those Swedes though only made 14,000 of them or something like that. Now the fun part is finding ammunition. I also found another cylinder that I purchased. I'm also looking for the ammo. It's... difficult. I found a few places that load it, but it's not in stock anywhere (well, nothing's in stock at the moment). However, I figure the spare cylinder can't be a bad thing. What I'm probably going to do is use the rougher cylinder for shooting and the "fresher" one for display. I'm also now looking for a Polish Nagant Revolver. These were apparently made for the Poles as well as Brazil, and a small myriad of other countries. They're also rather scarce. So we'll see how far we can get before money is simply not available, or there are other guns to be had. |
