The original Hi-Powers, the Belgian Army P35s, had tangent/adjustable sights right from the beginning. Much like the German P-08s, they were equipped to affix a shoulder stock to convert them to a "semi-carbine" configuration. That was one of the reasons for the adjustable sights. The P35 was designed as a military firearm, not for concealed carry. Harvey |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Never understood adjustable sights on a Hi Power? It's a personal defense weapon, plain and simple, not a target pistol in any sense of the term. It appears to me those sights could get hung up on a draw, am I wrong?
