You are much more up to date on handguns than me so I'll take your word on it although I never had any feed or fire problems.  I always considered Mauser a first rate manufacturer of firearms.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The guys here, including the late Herb Sclossberg who posted that, say the HSc was not as reliable as the Walthers.
