I think they are still available, although I don't believe they are made anymore.  The gun was essentially a failure for many reasons.  While I'm not a fan of the concept, I think Kirsten showed that it actually could conceal well snugged against the correct hip (which I do not possess, but which she clearly does).  That said, the trigger is obviously not the best.  And it is a close-up gun, not an all-around gun.  To be truly suitable for self-defense, I believe a gun should be able to defend oneself in any situation at any range, and I don't think this is the gun.
