Saw that while walking around SHOT Show. Never bought any. It's an M-1 Carbine design of a blowback pistol caliber cartridge rifle in 9MM. It took Beretta 92 Mags which I thought was pretty cool. They didn't do anything to old guns, they just borrowed the format for a cheap 9MM rifle in a "proven" package. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Did you own this carbine, or was it something you had in the shop? I've seen conversions of M1 Carbines to .45ACP, as well. My personal opinion on converting older generation milsurps to shoot a different cartridge is generally negative. First, most of the time one is desecrating a collectible, unless the arm is somehow trashed beyond resurrection, and then why resurrect it? Secondly, there are so many better modern guns to use--and most already come in whatever chambering one could desire. Just my two cents. Image below from TJ Parmele - Image Title: 9MM M1 Carbine |
