For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I have one I bought over 50 years ago, NIB cost me $96.00. Still a great deer rifle, I have a Lyman Peep sight from which I remover the small aperture so it's like a "ghost ring", very quick to get on target. I have used the 170 grain load exclusively, shoots well and as accurate as can be expected from a lever rifle.
