For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: i bought a 100 of 303 brit. made a ring and pushed it to the rim, then ran them through a 303 savage die and then trimmed them to length, yes i loaded them with spitzer bullets also had to trim the rim to size. Wow, that was quite a project. Did you know what you were getting into for ammunition for that M99 in .303 Savage? What kind of performance did you get out of those hand loads? Similar to .30-30? Do you still have the rifle? Harvey |
