Section 8: Handguns Subject: Walther PP Super Msg# 1156481

Yeah, I stumbled into this one not too long ago at the shop I work at PT as a trainer. It's the Walther PP Super chambered in 9X18 Ultra (or Police). It's the same bullet diameter as a 9MM or .380 ACP but it's meant to be inbetween the two rounds in terms of power. The round itself was developed in the 30s for the Germans and it kind of languished until a brief lull in the 70s, when it was proposed for this gun, a Sig and one other that escapes my memory. For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Never knew there was such an animal? How long was it made? Did they sell many? Grip looks way too big for the frame, not a good looking pistol in my opinion. A possible candidate for the new 30 critical defense round?
