I remember him mostly because of the Colt he carried. Just about all western law men as well as bad guys carried SAA's in either 4 3/4 or 5 1/2 barrel lengths, he carried a 7 1/2 barrel and, often used it as a club on bad guys.
It really wasn't until the Clint Eastwood movies that anybody carried anything other than SAA's, his movies had an eclectic assortment of revolvers to say the least. |
