I agree that Mr. King is both ignorant and a moron...
Booze and tobacco are given away free on street corners compared to the regulations on firearms. He is ignorant because he doesn't know that, and a moron because he doesn't even suspect that, and because he doesn't care how broadly he advertises his inability to recognize his own ignorance. To quote someone obviously smarter than him, "What a maroon!" |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Like we don't already, Stephen King, you moron. The people who know the least about guns are often the ones bellyaching the loudest about guns. Just because you have a platform doesn't mean you should use it.
