I have fired the GSG 1911 a fair amount, I even bought several extra mags for it and tested them all (100%). Since I got it I don't think I've fired my Ruger MkII. I don't go out and shoot the GSG exclusively, but it usually goes with me when I'm taking 1911s out to shoot, and that's pretty much every time I shoot.
I probably should sell the Ruger, but these last few years selling guns has not been something I've had much interest in doing. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I thought you were going to do more .22 shooting when you bought that .22 1911 (GSG or something?). I know I had a similar itch at that time, but I put the money toward an NRA membership upgrade instead. Have you ever fired that pistol? Have you fired it often? I don't have many .22s, just a couple of rifles and a couple of handguns. For a couple of years I belonged to a club that had .22 bowling pin shoots and I probably did more .22 shooting then than I did aside from that over the years; I just never did a lot of plinking.
