For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: According to The Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson, an authoritative source on all things Smith & Wesson, they only made less than 65,000 of them over four years time. Also this: "Note: many of the early pistols were returned to the factory for repair, rather than fixing the pistol the factory would take a new gun change the serial number and return it to the customer." In other words, these little pistols were junk. |
