I have 3 of these Colt Detective Specials. They aren't cheap to acquire. I lucked into a buddy deal on one where I paid $350 and drove 4 hours round trip to pick it up. The others have been $500 and above and that was over 10 years ago. Whereas K-Frames... I've picked up for under $200 that were mechanically pristine. For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I never owned one of these but I always thought these were one of THE most appealing of the snubs. The six shot cylinder helps.
