Let's not forget he was a heroic? brown water sailor in Vietnam. Although I do remember him throwing (some other GI's?) medals away during a peace protest. He said at first he did throw his medals away, then he later said it was his military ribbons, then when he was running for office against another veteran he said he didn't throw them. Typical liar that he has been, probably, all his adult life. Remember the Swift Boaters! His 3 Purple Hearts have been questioned by people who were in Vietnam with him.
