I always like the look of stag. Real stag is fairly rare these days, though more common than ivory and such. Lots of plastic stag going around. ![]() My son has an M1917 1937 Brazilian contract, and he has a set of modern, oversized, laminated wood stocks on his--not for looks of course but for shooting. They do look kinda bad, but they make shooting very easy. He pretty much shoots only AutoRim cartridges in his--until he runs out and waits for me to load up some more. |
