I always like the look of stag. Real stag is fairly rare these days, though more common than ivory and such. Lots of plastic stag going around.
My son has an M1917 1937 Brazilian contract, and he has a set of modern, oversized, laminated wood stocks on his--not for looks of course but for shooting. They do look kinda bad, but they make shooting very easy. He pretty much shoots only AutoRim cartridges in his--until he runs out and waits for me to load up some more. |
