Could be.
Sinking the rear sight - as in going back to a notch-in-the-frame fixed sight - would accomplish the same goal as raising the front sight so, yeah, a fixed sight would indeed make more sense on a "snubby". Of course the whole idea of an N-frame snubby is kind of an oxymoron in terms of use - too big for an ankle or pocket gun! Stu |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The contrary idea is that the barrel is so short and the velocity so relatively high that maybe they could regulate fixed sights. I doubt it though. I'm inclined to think the revolver as sold was little more than a gadget--see my comments to TJ. |
